Police appeal after two children injured in Stoke-on-Trent collision

Police have launched an appeal after a car collided with two children crossing a road in Stoke-on-Trent.
At 8.30am on Wednesday 24 June, police were called to Chell Heath Road following reports of a collision involving a white Toyota and two children who were on foot.
Officers attended the scene alongside colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Both children received medical treatment at the scene before being taken to hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening at this time.
The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and is assisting with enquiries.
