Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after a shed used by a Stoke charity was set alight on Monday.

Police were called to City Farm, Bucknall, just after 7am on Monday along with Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.

A shed used to store tools worth more than £10,000 had been set alight and it is thought to have been caused deliberately.

In a social media post, City Farm said: "Another devastating blow to our team this morning with a further affect to the community!

"Another big fire has taken place on the farm in quite a big shed that was cladded with steel!

"The people who have set fire to the shed have also made us lose all of our tools yet again!

"If anyone has any information please come forward."

City Farm was also targeted in March when another shed containing equipment was set alight (City Farm).

City Farm will be holding an open day on 24 and 25 June and are asking the local community to help them get work back on track.

Anyone with any information that could help police with their investigation are asked to contact them through Live Chat on the website, or by calling 101, quoting incident number 095 of 19 June.
