Plea for witnesses and information following stabbing of boy by another teenager

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses and information following the stabbing of a 13-year-old boy in Stoke.

It happened at The Potteries Centre around 3pm on Boxing Day (Monday, 26 December).

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has been released on bail while enquiries continue.

The victim remains in a stable condition in hospital with leg and neck injuries, Staffordshire Police said.

Anyone with information can report it via the Staffordshire Police website or by calling 101.
