Plans for a brand-new residential development just off the A50 in Stoke-on-Trent have been approved - for the third time.
Mrs Jones applied for permission back in 2020 for a residential development on land behind Uttoxeter Road, just off the A50 at Meir.
The site has already been granted planning permission for a residential development twice, but both expired before work began.
The new development will comprise of five, two-bedroom homes and 12 parking spaces.
An Officer's Report, published by the council this week, states: "This current outline planning application, has been submitted following a number of previous outline planning permissions being granted for residential development of this site.
"The site is located in an accessible location, in terms of the proximity to Meir town centre, along with public transport links and nearby schools as well as being close to a main vehicular transport corridor, the A50.
"Although set back from the main streetscene, the dwellings would face towards the public realm and this arrangement would would be similar to the adjacent existing properties."
Network Rail were also consulted on the development as the site backs onto a railway line, but no objections were received.
