Plans have been submitted to Stoke-on-Trent City Council for a new extension to a private social club in the city.

Weston Coyney Private Social Club, on Caverswall Road in Weston Coyney, currently has a beautiful garden area, fully-stocked bar, darts board, two television screens and a function room for private hire.

Mr Harp from the social club applied for permission last month to build single storey side extensions, a part replacement roof, a new covered area and a bin store.

The extension will form a new darts area to the front of the building and more cellar space to the rear - materials used will match the existing building.

There will also be two new lampposts installed on the car park as well as new gates and an EV charging point (Nub News).

As part of the application, the club is asking for permission to install two new lampposts on the existing car park as well as an electric car charging point and new gates.

A decision is expected regarding these plans in the coming months.
