Pedestrian fatally injured in collision on busy Stoke-on-Trent road

Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died following a collision in Stoke-on-Trent.

At 3.20pm yesterday (23 October), police were called to Stone Road, near The Trentham Estate, to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a lorry.

Officers went to the scene with paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service and the air ambulance.

Sadly, the man died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and will be supported by specially-trained officers.

Police are keen to speak to anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the area - get in touch via the website.
