Nine miles of congestion on M6 near Stoke-on-Trent due to collision

A collision on the M6 between J16 (Crewe) and J15 (Stoke-on-Trent) this afternoon temporarily caused the motorway to be closed.

National Highways say a collision resulted in a fuel spillage.

All lanes are now reopen, although there are nine miles of congestion and delays of up to 60 minutes.
