The search is still ongoing for missing Newcastle-under-Lyme man, David.

Detectives are said to be working around the clock to locate the 59-year-old and Staffordshire Police has today released a new confirmed sighting of David from Friday 9 May.

He was last seen walking on the A34 Liverpool Road, towards the Esso Garage, at 2.32pm on Friday 9 May just before the previous sighting of him on Wolstanton Marsh at 2:15pm on the same day.

Staffordshire Police say David could now be anywhere in the country and are urging people to get in touch with officers as soon as possible.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "David could be anywhere in the country and we're urging people to get in touch with us as soon as possible if you've seen him or if you know where he could be. We're particularly interested in anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the A34 in the general area of Lymedale, heading towards Bradwell.

"David is described as being 6ft tall, of a stocky build with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a brown t-shirt, grey trousers, brown shoes and a camouflage backpack."

Those with information should call Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident 759 of 9 May.
