Motorcyclist taken to Royal Stoke with serious injuries following Longton collision

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a road traffic collision in Longton last night (19 July).

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to a collision involving a motorbike at the junction of Gardiner Drive and Goms Mill Road in Longton at 8.36pm and sent one ambulance, a paramedic officer and two BASICS emergency doctors to the scene. 

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "Upon arrival we found a motorcyclist. He was assessed by ambulance staff and had sustained serious injuries. 

"He received advanced trauma care from ambulance staff at the scene and was conveyed to Royal Stoke University Hospital for further treatment." 

The man received treatment at the scene before being transported to Royal Stoke (Nub News).

"No further patients required treatment."
