Motorcyclist, 18, dies following Stoke-on-Trent crash

A teenager has died following a crash involving a car and a motorbike in Stoke-on-Trent.
Staffordshire Police was called at 10.10am today (Wednesday 5 August) to Anchor Road in Adderley Green following reports of a collision.
Officers attended the scene alongside the West Midlands Ambulance Service and Midlands Air Ambulance.
The rider of the motorbike, an 18-year-old man, died at the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "On arrival, crews found a man, the motorcyclist, in a critical condition and immediately began administering advanced life support.
"Sadly, despite best efforts, nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
The driver and a passenger in the car were not injured.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who was travelling in the area with any information or footage which could help collision investigators.
