New data, released yesterday (9 July) by the Office of National Statistics, has revealed the most popular baby names in England and Wales in 2025.

The information has been gathered using birth registration data.

In Stoke-on-Trent, Aurora was the winner for young ladies with Muhammed the name of choice for baby boys.

Lily has come out on top as the most popular girls' name in Stafford with Charlie taking first place for boys.
