A man has been taken to hospital following a four vehicle collision in Forsbrook yesterday afternoon (5 December).

An ambulance, paramedic officer and the critical care car were sent to Cheadle Road yesterday following reports of a road traffic collision.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of an RTC on Cheadle Road in Forsbrook, Stoke on Trent at around 4.35pm.

The driver of one of the vehicles was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital for 'precautionary checks' (SWNS).

"On arrival, crews discovered four cars had been involved in a collision. The driver of one car, a man, was assessed by ambulance staff and taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital for further treatment as a precaution.

"The driver of a second car, also a man, was treated for minor injuries but did not wish to go to hospital so was given self-care advice and discharged at the scene."
