A man has pleaded guilty after another man was stabbed in a field in Stoke-on-Trent.

Maksymilian Jagielski, aged 20, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, admitted grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a knife in a public place at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 8 January 2024.

Jagielski stabbed the victim multiple times after they met on a field near Abbey Road in July last year (2023). He ran away after doing it, leaving the victim, a man in his 20s, wounded in the street.

Jagielski will be sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court in March (Nub News).

Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service treated the victim at the scene and took him to hospital for treatment. Thankfully, he was later discharged after recovering from the injuries.

Jagielski was tracked back to his home address and arrested shortly after.

Jagielski has been remanded into custody and will be sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court in March.
