Man charged following stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent city centre
A man has been charged following a stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent city centre over the weekend.
Seyed Pouria, 23, from Shelton, has been charged with wounding with intent, possession of a knife blade/pointed article in a public place, and attempted robbery.
This comes after police were called to Parliament Row, Hanley, just after 11.20am on 12 October.
A man was assessed and treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
Pouria is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (14 October).
