Man charged after more than £2,500 in class A drugs found in Abbey Hulton

A man has been charged after police found more than £2,500 worth of crack cocaine and heroin in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers searched a van in Abbey Hulton on Monday 4 July and found the drugs inside, as well as £1,300 in cash.

Ryan Atkinson, 30, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested and has since been charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine, supplying crack cocaine and heroin, driving whilst disqualified, possessing criminal property and driving without insurance.

Officers discovered the drugs whilst carrying out a vehicle search in Abbey Hulton last week (Nub News).

He has been remanded ahead of a future appearance at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 7 August.
