Man arrested on drink and drug suspicion after Stoke-on-Trent collision

A man has been arrested on suspicion of driving a vehicle whilst unfit through drink or drugs following a collision in Stoke-on-Trent on Thursday.
Staffordshire Police were called to Leek New Road in Milton following reports of a collision involving two vehicles at a set of traffic lights.
Now Staffordshire Police has confirmed that a 20-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent has been arrested on suspicion of driving a vehicle whilst unfit through drink or drugs.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "A man has been arrested following a collision in Stoke-on-Trent.
"We were called to Leek New Road, Milton, at around 10pm on Thursday (27 February) following reports of a collision involving two vehicles at a set of traffic lights.
"A 20-year-old male, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of driving a vehicle whilst unfit through drink or drugs.
"He has since been released under investigation whilst our enquiries continue."
Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses, dashcam or doorbell footage and they are asked to get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident 786 of 27 February.
