A man has been arrested after another man was stabbed in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Staffordshire Police were called to an address in Kidsgrove shortly after 9.30pm on Friday (28 April) following reports of a stabbing.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was found with stab wounds and taken to hospital by paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service.

A 30-year-old man was taken to hospital with stab wounds which aren't believed to be serious (West Midlands Ambulance Service).

His injuries aren't believed to be serious.

On Sunday (30 April), police arrested a 23-year-old man from Newcastle-under-Lyme on suspicion of wounding with intent.

He has since been released on conditional police bail while inquiries continue.
