Man arrested after car collides with takeaway in Stoke-on-Trent

A man has been arrested after a car was spotted being driven dangerously and collided with a takeaway in Stoke-on-Trent.

Just after 11pm on Tuesday 5 March, officers saw a blue BMW on Werrington Road, Bucknall.

The car failed to stop and was later found abandoned on Ford Hayes Lane - it had collided with a takeaway business on Ash Bank Road.

A 21-year-old man, from Crawley, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving (Staffordshire Police).

He has been released on bail while enquiries continue.
