Male found dead following ‘medical emergency’ at popular Stoke-on-Trent park

A male has been found dead at one of Stoke-on-Trent's biggest and most popular parks. 

Staffordshire Police and West Midlands Ambualnce Service were called to Central Forest Park, Hanley, yesterday afternoon. 

A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: "We were called to reports of a medical emergency at Central Forest Park at 3.35pm. 

"Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car attended the scene. 

"On arrival we discovered one male patient. Ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support but sadly, it became apparent nothing could be done to save him, and he was confirmed dead at the scene."

Staffordshire Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
