A "long-awaited" highway improvements scheme in Newcastle will get underway on Tuesday 26 November.
The £295,000 scheme is being carried out by Staffordshire County Council and will take around one week to complete.
The work on Scot Hay Road and Kents Lane junction in Silverdale will include reconstruction and resurfacing of the road, along with repairs and replacement of damaged kerbs and drainage.
A combination of temporary lane closures and a few overnight closures will be in operation - a signed diversion will be in place.
Mark Deaville, Cabinet Member for Strategic Highways at Staffordshire County Council, said: "Good roads are essential for people and for our local economy, which is why we are investing more than £50 million in highways over the next three years.
"It's great to see these long-awaited improvements get underway. I'm sure they'll be welcomed by everyone who uses the road. As always, crews will be doing their best to keep disruption to a minimum, which will include doing the resurfacing overnight when the road is quieter. I'd like to thank people in advance for their patience while this important work takes place."
