A local mother of two, is set to publish her second children's book in time for Easter.

Diane Thomas, a mobile nail technician and semi-permanent makeup artist based in Talke, is publishing her second book at Easter.

'The Dog Named Trifle and Hop' comes hot on the heels of The Dog Named Trifle', released on Amazon in January this year.

This time, Trifle, Hop and Sunny go on a sweet Easter adventure filled with friendship and fun all about having a go and being brave .

Diane, 40, says there will be two other books in the series - one for Halloween and the other at Christmas.

The idea for the children's books came after her children encouraged her to set their bedtime story to paper.

Diane explained previously that she regularly makes up stories for her 10-year-old daughter and four-year-old son.

She added: "My children and my partner really spurred me on.

"If they hadn't spurred me on, it would probably still be sat in my phone now."

She said previously: "Having two books out there, blows my mind a little bit. It just seems to have just happened overnight."

The Dog Named Trifle is available to purchase on Amazon here.
