A team of staff from a family-run furniture shop are helping to clean up a Stoke-on-Trent town.

Owners and staff at TS Domestics in Tunstall, have been leading regular clean-ups in the town over the last two years in a bid to rejuvenate the area and strengthen community pride.

The project first began in October 2024, and the group now aims to carry out weekly clean-up sessions regardless of weather conditions.

Curtis Peters, of TS Domestics, said: "We could sit here all day and point fingers.

"Rather than sit here and say whose fault it is, let's just get up and do it.

"It takes a couple of hours of our time once a week and the difference we make is incredible."TS Domestics are frequently joined by volunteer members of the public as they pick litter, tidy weeds and remove graffiti from around Tunstall.
