Investigation underway following fire inside Stoke-on-Trent flats

A full investigation into the cause of a fire in Stoke-on-Trent yesterday (16 July) is now underway.

Firefighters were called to Wood Street, Longton, just before 9.30am yesterday and four crews attended the scene.

The electric supply was isolated and all floors were searched, with no-one found inside the building.

Thankfully, nobody was injured in the fire (Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service).

Thankfully, no-one was injured.
