As part of the refurbishment, the Stanley Road site has undergone a number of changes including a refreshed bar, updated terraced patio and children's play area.

The restaurant orangery is also being refurbished and will offer a further 55 covers when it reopens in the autumn.
General manager, Ross Campion, said: "We're excited to welcome the residents of Stockton Brook to experience our brand-new look and to enjoy a Mediterranean escape right on their doorstep."
"This transformation marks a new chapter for us here at Ego at The Hollybush.

"We've breathed new life into the restaurant while staying true to the Ego brand.
"It's a reflection of our passion for Mediterranean food and good quality customer service."
The restaurant seats 100 guests and the bar area seats an additional 30 covers where customers can enjoy cocktails, cask ales and wine.

Customers can also choose to drink and dine outside on the terraced patio area.
The menu includes Chargrilled Merguez Spiced Lamb Koftas, Moroccan Style Lamb ot Cypriot Halloumi Chargrilled Kebab.
While for dessert diners can chose from dishes including Callebaut White Chocolate & Raspberry Crème Brulée and Raspberry and Almond Frangipane Tart, which is served with either vanilla ice cream or custard.

The Ego at The Hollybush will also have a private dining area available for hire in the autumn.
The refurbished space has the capacity to seat up to 55 guests.
In 2023 pub chain Mitchell and Butlers, which also owns Miller & Carter and Toby Carvery, took out a 100% stake in the Ego brand, which now has 32 restaurants in England and Wales.
