A huge retail unit in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, is set to be sold at auction next week, with a guide price of £250,000.
2-4 Piccadilly is described as "a high yielding retail investment occupying a prime corner pitch.
"Let to the undoubted covenant of Specsavers on a lease expiring 2029 and producing £48,000 per annum."
The 5,695 square metre unit has been occupied by Specsavers for the past twenty years and will go to auction on Monday 15 April at 1pm.
Of the unit, Savills Auctions say: "Arranged across ground, first and second floors, the property is let in its entirety to Specsavers Optical Superstores Limited on a lease expiring 09/09/2029 (approx. 5 years unexpired) and paying a rent of £48,000 per annum.
"The property occupies a prominent corner pitch in the centre of Hanley Market Square, which is the focal point for the first phase of Hanley town centre redevelopment.
"This includes the resurfacing and pedestrianisation of the surrounding roads, with the second phase of the regeneration including a £20m Levelling Up fund award for the provision of a comprehensive mixed-use development immediately to the south."
Anyone interested in the unit should register to bid on the Savills Auctions website by 5pm on 14 April.
