Home Bargains has opened a new store in Newcastle-under-Lyme, creating over 70 new jobs in the local community.

The new store, located on Lyme Valley Road, officially opened on Saturday (13 June) following an investment of approximately £3 million from Home Bargains.

The retailer said that the new store - the second in Newcastle-under-Lyme - has created 72 new jobs in the local community.

Daryl Tyler, the new Newcastle-Under-Lyme 2 store manager, said: "We are incredibly excited and proud to be opening our new store.

"Bringing together a café, bakery, and garden centre under one roof offers something unique and different for the local community.

"We have built an outstanding team who are ready and eager to welcome customers and provide a fantastic experience from day one."

The store, which will offer Home Bargains' wide range of products, will also be home to a bakery, café and garden centre.

Daryl Tyler added: "Our second Newcastle-Under-Lyme location will be a great store for us, and we're proud to be able to offer local people top-branded goods at exceptionally low prices."
