Go Outdoors staff using body-worn cameras to deter theft in Stoke-on-Trent

Go Outdoors are trialing new body-worn cameras at a store in Stoke-on-Trent.
The retailer hopes the body cam trial at the Festival Park store will deter theft and keep store colleagues safe.
It follows a rise in retail crime and Go Outdoors says it is committed to providing a safer shopping experience for staff and customers.
GO Outdoors will use the trial to inform future decisions at the company's locations across the UK.
Claire Cowie, Stoke store manager, said: "Body cameras have been a game-changer. They've not only deterred theft but also increased confidence amongst staff that they are safe when they come to work.

"The added layer of protection has been well received by our genuine customers. It's brought a new level of trust and transparency to our store.
Crucially, the business has been proactive in equipping us with these tools, enabling us to react swiftly and effectively to the concerning increase in retail crime we've faced."
