Free youth festival coming to Stoke-on-Trent next month

A free 'family youth festival' is set to take over Northwood Stadium next month to celebrate the centenary and to inspire young people in the city.
The Stoke 100 Youth Festival is bringing together over 40 activities, live performances and interactive experiences along with appearances from Port Vale and Stoke City.
The festival has been organised by the Stoke-on-Trent Youth Collective and will take place on Sunday 7 September between 11am-4pm.
Nina Whalley from the Stoke-on-Trent Youth Collective said: "This is more than just a festival.
"It's a celebration of young people, families, and the incredible community we have here.
"There will be something for everyone, and we can't wait to welcome people from all over the city"
All the activities and events have been designed to celebrate the energy, creativity and talent of young people and their families in the city.
Throughout the day, attendees can expect to get involved with football skills, team challenges, music, dance, and creative arts performances.
As well there will be a family fun relay, creative workshops and wellness activities to explore ways to keep healthy, active, and happy.
