A former bar and retail premises on a busy road in Meir is due to be sold at auction later this month, after previously being advertised for let. 

A huge corner unit on Weston Road, formerly occupied by Swifty's, will go up for auction with a guide price of £100,000 on Monday 25 March. 

A property description on Butters John Bee says: "A prominent former bar/retail premises located on the corner of Weston Road and Stanton Road in Meir with first floor living accommodation.

The bar and retail premises has a guide price of £100,000 (Nub News).

"The property is situated in a busy commercial trading location with excellent road links to the A50.

"The ground floor provides a generous sized retail space with two rear stores. A separate access to the side of the property leads to stairs up to the first floor where there is an open plan former kitchen/diner, WC, two bedrooms and living room."

The auction takes place at 6.30pm at The DoubleTree by Hilton, Festival Park and live online bidding is also available.
