A former charity shop in Stoke-on-Trent has been put up for sale for £850,000, after closing only last month.

Mind's charity shop on The Strand, Longton, closed on 27 January 2024 but the charity confirmed to Nub News they are "currently looking for alternative units available in Longton and the surrounding areas, with a view to secure a new premises as soon as possible".

The large unit has been listed for sale by FHP for £850,000.

The Mind charity shop closed on 27 January 2024 (Nub News).

It has been described by the estate agent as a "prominent retail unit with short term income" and it also comes with 94 parking spaces.

At time of closing, Andrew Vale, Director of Retail at Mind, said: "We want to say a huge thank you to all staff, volunteers, donors, and customers who have supported the Longton shop in so many ways since opening in November 2021.

"Thanks to this community, we can be there for even more people who need us."
