Five teenagers arrested after van collides with Stoke-on-Trent home

Five teenagers, all from Stoke-on-Trent, have been arrested after a van collided with a home in the city recently.

At about 2.40am on Sunday (19 November), a Ford Tourneo collided with an address near Pacific Road in Trentham.

One of the walls of the home collapsed after the collision. The people in the van at the time ran away from the area.

Two women were inside the property and one became trapped under a collapsed wall.

Fire crews worked to rescue the two women and they were left in the care of paramedics.

Two 16-year old boys and a 15-year-old girl have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking.

A 15-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl have been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and aggravated vehicle taking.

All have been questioned about what happened and released on conditional police bail.
