Five people arrested after a shotgun and machete found in a Stoke-on-Trent home

Staffordshire Police arrested five people yesterday after they seized a shotgun and machete from a home in Stoke-on-Trent (Nub News).

Staffordshire Police have arrested five people after they received reports of a firearm at a property in Stoke-on-Trent.

Firearms officers attended a house on Intake Road, Norton, yesterday afternoon (Thursday 19 October) and seized a double-barrelled shotgun and a machete. 

They arrested a 20-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, on suspicion of having an imitation firearm with intent to commit an offence and a 20-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy, both from Stoke-on-Trent, on suspicion of possessing a firearm without a certificate. 

Firearms officers attended a house on Intake Road, Norton, yesterday afternoon (Google).

A 19-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was also arrested on suspicion of racially/religiously aggravated harassment and obstructing/resisting a constable in the execution of their duty and an 18-year-old man, from Oldham, was arrested on suspicion of burglary. 

They all remain in custody.
