A fire in Stoke-on-Trent which engulfed two vehicles and 20 large tractor tyres in a storage unit was 'accidental'.

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue was called out to a business on Lower Bedford Street in Cliffe Vale after nearby residents saw huge plumes of black smoke billowing from the area at around 1:30pm on Friday (8 August).

Three fire engines were at the scene along with officers from Staffordshire Police. There were no injuries reported and fire investigators have now concluded the fire was caused accidentally.
