Fire investigation expected to take place at Stoke-on-Trent shop today

Fire investigators are expected to carry out an inspection into the cause of the fire at Farmfoods in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police and fire crews were called to the shop on Moorland Road, Burslem, yesterday afternoon.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews made lots of progress yesterday and have been dampening down hotspots left over.

"A full inspection into the cause of the fire is expected to take place today (24 May)."
