The annual festive fundraiser for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice will be taking place on Friday 12 December this year.
The Blurton-based charity is encouraging families, schools, community groups and businesses across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire to join in by wearing Christmas jumpers and donating.
Although the official Christmas Jumper Day is on 12 December, supporters can choose any day to get involved.
Deborah Vickers, Head of Business and Events Fundraising at Dougie Mac, said: "Whatever amount you're able to donate, whether it's £1 or £5, your support really does make a difference and enables us to provide exceptional care for our local community.
"We rely enormously on the support and generosity of our local community to raise the money we need to continue our specialist care and support services for people of all ages.
"We're so grateful to everyone who takes part, not only for Christmas Jumper Day, but also in our other fundraising activities throughout the year."
Douglas Macmillan Hospice (also known as Dougie Mac) provides specialist palliative care for adults, young adults and children across North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent who face cancer and other life-limiting illnesses including advanced heart failure and dementia.
In previous years, money has been raised by holding fancy dress competitions, raffles, bake sales and tombolas.
