A doctor has been charged with a sexual assault following a Staffordshire Police investigation.

Doctor Danial Moin Baloch, 30, of Worsley, Manchester, has been charged with sexual assault.

It comes following an investigation by the Staffordshire Police rape and serious sexual offences team.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "He was arrested in November 2024 after a woman reported a sexual assault to us and we began an investigation."

Baloch is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 28 July.
