M6 delays to continue as lorry blocks section of road

Two (of four) lanes on the M6 southbound between J15 (Stoke-on-Trent) and J14 (Stafford) remain closed as delays continue.

Delays are now expected to be 90 minutes due to the position of the lorry on the road.

All emergency services attended the crash involving a lorry that left the carriageway.

National Highways said: "Due to the position the the lorry has ended up in, recovery likely be protracted.

"Delays are now approaching 90 minutes on the approach."
