Crown Court date set for Staffordshire woman charged with attempted murder

The case of a woman from Staffordshire, charged with attempted murder following an alleged incident in Alsager, has been referred to Crown Court.

Katy Fryer, who was arrested on Saturday (30 May), is set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday, 29 June. She was remanded in custody.

The 45-year-old, of Albany Road, Newcastle-Under-Lyme, appeared at Warrington Crown Court on Monday (1 June).

Cheshire Police say the charges relate to an incident that occurred in the Crewe Road area of Alsager.
