Five pubs in Stoke-on-Trent will serve a special ale to mark the Coronation of King Charles III.

Greene King pubs across the city will be serving 'Coronation Ale'.

The product is described as a "refreshing golden ale is crafted using a fusion of fragrant hops, resulting in a pleasantly hoppy aroma and flavour profile."

It has "bright tropical fruit notes and smooth, satisfying finish."

The Weathervane is just one of five Stoke pubs which will be serving the ale (Nub News).

The Weathervane staff told Stoke Nub News that the ale had been popular so far.

The pub group has a long tradition of brewing special beers for coronations and jubilees.

But if you want to try the new product, be quick, as once it is gone it is gone.

The ale will be available at:

  • Weathervane - Lysander Road
  • New Florence - Lightwood Road
  • Hem Heath - Stanley Matthews Way
  • Sneyd Arms - Hanley Road
  • Brindley Farm - Etruria Valley

The ale costs £4.10 and is 4% ABV (Nub News).
