Comic Con will return to the Potteries Centre in Hanley later this month for a weekend filled with superhero themed entertainment and attractions.

The event will take place from 10am-5pm on Saturday 22 March and 11am-4pm on Sunday 23 March and will be located on Level 6 above the Keep it Local store at the former Next unit.

The centre says superhero fans will be able to immerse themselves in the worlds of their favourite characters and also enjoy meet and greet sessions with Minecraft Steve, Mario, Bowser and more.

As well visitors can look forward to a weekend filled with entertainment, exclusive attractions, and must-have merchandise, according to the shopping centre.

Amy Whittaker, centre director at The Potteries Centre said: "Comic Con is one of our most-loved annual events, and we're delighted to welcome it back in 2025.

"We have a passionate and ever-growing community of pop culture enthusiasts, and this event is a fantastic opportunity to bring like-minded fans together for a not-to-be-missed weekend of excitement and nostalgia."

This year cosplayers will receive discounts at some of the centre's retailers and there will also be an anime-inspired bath bomb making session at Lush.

And Midlands Air Ambulance on the lower mall will be selling an array of Comic Con themed stock.

This will be the third year of Comic Con events at the centre with the first taking place in July 2023.
