Coates family's wealth now stands at £9.44 billion

The Coates family are now worth £9.44 billion according to The Sunday Times 2025 Rich List, which was published today.
The Stoke City and Bet365 owners increased their wealth by £1.97 billion in the last year.
The rich list has placed Denise, John and Peter Coates 16th nationally but they didn't claim the top spot in the West Midlands as JCB chairman Lord Bamford retained the highest wealth in the region.
Lord Bamford and his family are now worth £9.45bn which is up by £1.8bn on last year's total.
It comes as the Bet365 owners are said to be 'weighing up' a potential sale of their gambling empire, which is headquartered in Etruria.
The Guardian reported earlier this month that Denise Coates had held talks with Wall Street banks about full or partial sale of assets.
Selling Bet365 could net Denise, 57, more than £5bn, based on her 58% stake.
Bet365 started from humble beginnings in a potakabin in a car park in 2000. Peter Coates, from Goldenhill, had set up a chain of Provincial Racing betting shops but the family saw a gap in the online space.
Since then, the company has operated in 13 countries.
In August last year, Bet365 transferred ownership of Stoke City football club to John Coates, the brother of Denise.
