Staffordshire Police is appealing for information following a burglary at a charity shop in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police were called to Iris' Cats in Need on High Street, Tunstall, at 7.15am on Thursday (7 May) following reports that cash and items had been stolen.

Officers attended the scene following reports that cash and items had been stolen.

The investigation is ongoing and Staffordshire Police is appealing for witnesses.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We are appealing for anyone with any information which might help our investigation to contact us. Call 101, quoting incident 164 of 7 May, or use Live Chat on our website.

"To report anonymously, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
