Some bin collections may be disrupted during the Christmas period as our local bin crews take a well-deserved festive break.

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is advising residents that:

  • If your bin was scheduled to be collected on Wednesday 25 December, present your bin on Wednesday 8 January.
  • If your bin was scheduled to be collected on Thursday 26 December, present your bin on Thursday 9 January
  • If your bin was scheduled to be collected on Wednesday 1 January, present your bin on Wednesday 15 January

Collections will return to normal from Thursday 2 January

After Christmas, the council will accept two additional black sacks of household waste and additional recycling material (must be presented in cardboard boxers or clear bags).
