The annual Star Bikers Christmas toy appeal once again brought festive cheer to the local community as motorbike enthusiasts rode a 20-mile route around Stoke-on-Trent to collect toys for local hospitals and children's homes.

This was the 46th year of the event, which ensures that children who might not otherwise receive presents on Christmas Day have a reason to smile.

The toy run saw amazing support, with over 100 riders taking part including Mark Everill who rode a Triumph! whilst wearing a Santa suit.

Mark, who works at Dyno-Rod, donned a Santa suit for the occasion (Dyno-Rod).

Mark not only participated in the ride but also delivered collection boxes to other local businesses and encouraged the public to donate toys. He had an amazing response, receiving support from 30 amazing individuals.

He said his front room has been transformed into what he describes as a "warehouse for Toys R Us," thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the community.

He said: "At this time of year, the generosity of local communities never ceases to amaze, and it's wonderful to see so many people come together to make a difference in the lives of children during the holiday season".
