Staffordshire Police have released CCTV images of three young men they would like to speak to in connection with a knifepoint robbery in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

A teenage boy was robbed at knifepoint at around 8.50pm on Thursday 2 May near the Grosvenor roundabout, also known as the sunken roundabout, on Barracks Road.

The first suspect is described as white with short hair and was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a black hoodie. The second suspect is described as black with dreadlocks and was wearing all black. The third man is described as wearing dark-coloured clothing. Two of them had knives and all of them are believed to be between 16 and 18-years-old.

The incident happened on Thursday 2 May near the Grosvenor roundabout, also known as the sunken roundabout (Google).

The victim had his trainers stolen. Fortunately, he was not injured.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "If you recognise any of these people or have any information that could help with our enquiries, please call us on 101 quoting incident number 703 of 2 May, or message us using Live Chat on our website.

"You can also make an anonymous report by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
