National retailer B&M will be shutting one of its Stoke-on-Trent stores this weekend.

The chain will close a Hanley branch on Century Retail Park on Saturday 27 September, staff members have said.

The store is currently offering 50% off the few remaining products in the store with a lot of the shelving now left barren.

The retailer opened a new store, featuring a garden centre, at the old Comet unit on Festival Park in 2021.

B&M also has stores in Longton, Hanley town centre, Trent Vale, Fenton, Burslem and Wolstanton.

A spokesperson for B&M said: "The lease has ended on our store on Century Retail Park, Hanley which will close on Saturday 27th September and all colleagues have been offered roles at nearby B&M stores.

"We're committed to offering the best possible B&M stores to the Stoke-on-Trent area and customers will continue to find great value products nearby in our other stores on Old Hall Street and Festival Park."
