An additional twenty car parking spaces - for players and staff - are proposed as part of the plans (Nub News).

The players car park at Bet365 Stadium, home of Stoke City Football Club, could be extended if permission is granted from the local council.

Mr Richard Smith, of Stoke City (Property) Limited, has applied for permission to extend the players car park, install an internal path from away coach park, install additional internal crowd segregation fencing and add four more CCTV columns.

The stadium currently has space for 1889 vehicles in total, but twenty more spaces (for players and staff) are proposed as part of the plans.

The stadium, home of Stoke City Football Club, currently has space for almost 1900 vehicles (Nub News).

A design and access statement, submitted as part of the application, states: "The proposed car park extension is to provide additional car parking for Stoke City players and staff on a match event.

"The proposed fencing and gates are to provide public safety segregation between home and visiting fans because of relocated visiting fans from the south stand to the southeast corner."

A decision is expected regarding these plans in the coming months.
