BAFTA-winning explorer to perform in Stoke-on-Trent later this year

A BAFTA-winning explorer, naturalist and TV presenter will perform his brand-new live show in Stoke-on-Trent later this year.

Steve Backshall will perform his new show, Ocean, at 14 locations across the UK, including Stoke-on-Trent on Tuesday 22 October.

His promotors say: "Steve Backshall's Ocean is a love letter to the most exciting environment on our planet – and a great way to learn more about what we need to do to save our seas.

"Stunts, experiments, props, cutting edge science and big screen footage from his two decades in TV, will all help Steve to bring the icons of the Big Blue to life.

Steve Backshall got his first break as a presenter in 1998 and since then has hosted a range of TV shows including The Really Wild Show on CBBC, Deadly 60, Supergiants and a three-part live series Big Blue Live which earned him a BAFTA in 2015.
