An award-winning comedian and TV presenter will be bringing his new stand-up tour to Stoke-on-Trent this month.

Jimmy Carr will be performing two shows at The Regent Theatre, Hanley, on Wednesday 20 November.

The new tour - Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny - begins in Taunton today (1 November) and runs until 19 December 2025.

His promotors say: "Jimmy tells jokes, and jokes are like magnets. Jokes attract people, but they can also repel.

Tickets for both shows cost around £40 (Jimmy Carr).

"Some people are repelled by Jimmy's dark brand of comedy. This show is not for them. But if it's the kind of thing you like, then this is the kind of thing you'll like.

"Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny will be 90 minutes of solid jokes, no interval."

The stand-up show is at The Regent Theatre on 20 November at 7pm and 9.30pm. Tickets are available here.
