Asda opens new convenience store on busy Stoke-on-Trent road
A popular supermarket chain has opened a brand-new convenience store on a busy road in Stoke-on-Trent today (30 January).
The new Asda Express store is based on Esso Park Hall, Dividy Road and is open 24 hours a day.
This new branch is just one of over 20 new stores opening this month, including one on Talke Road which opened yesterday (29 January).
Andy Perry, Vice President of Convenience at Asda, said: "After pausing our convenience rollout during the festive period, the programme is now in full swing once more.
"We have exciting plans to accelerate the programme over the next couple of months with the aim of converting all 470 stores acquired from the Co-op and EG Group to Asda Express.
"We are looking forward to opening our doors and welcoming customers in new locations right across the UK."
The newly converted Asda Express stocks up to 3,000 branded and own-label products including essentials such as milk and bread.
